He was felled on the battlefield by his own brother’s axe, which he carries with him as it was nearer to him than his own blade when he rose. He wears the remnants of expensive burial armor that denotes his high rank. Of all the Undead, he maintains the most ‘human’ qualities with his high intelligence.
